Roommate Finder

The Roommate Finder is a database of student profiles for finding a roommate(s) for your current or new apartment.

If you are looking for a roommate, you can search for profiles of students with a space available in their apartment or someone else searching for an apartment. If you already have a place to live and are looking for a roommate, you can post a profile and/or read through the profiles to find someone looking for housing.

For resources about the apartment search process (including a database of apartments for rents, etc.), visit the Columbia Off-Campus Housing Assistance website. Additionally, you can post a roommate profile there to get connected with Columbia students who may be looking for roommate(s).

As much as we hope that this tool will assist you in finding a compatible roommate, Residential Life & Housing cannot guarantee that this will ensure a successful roommate relationship.

We encourage you to be open and honest with prospective roommates. If you chose to be roommates with someone, we encourage you to create a roommate contract after moving in together.

• Step 1: Submit a profile using the online form.
• Step 2: Review the site for new entries. Contact students with whom you think you'll be compatible.
• Step 3: When you have found a roommate, you can delete your profile from this site.
